wireless charger

Wireless charger

The wireless power transfer occurs through electromagnetic induction. With inductive charging the required power reaches the device not through a traditional cable but rather wirelessly through the use of electromagnetic fields.

principle:- the sender(charger) transfer required energy to the receiver(mobile)

Is it usefull

The biggest advantage of Qi Wireless Charging technology is that cell phones and chargers from different manufactures are compatible. The only requirement is that both parts – the sender and the receiver – fulfil the Qi specifications.

How does it works

You need two things: a device with wireless charging capability and a compatible wireless charger. Plug the charger into a wall outlet and place your device on it to power up. It’s that simple.
Wireless chargers emit an alternating magnetic field via the transmitter coil, which in turn induces an alternating voltage/current in the receiver coil inside the device. But really, it’s simple.

How to know your device can wirelessly charged

If you have a wireless charger from Verizon, your smartphone must be Qi (pronounced “chee”) compatible; all wireless charging accessories sold by Verizon are Qi certified. Look for a Qi logo on the device or its packaging. The icon is easy to identify a Q-shaped magnifying glass focusing on the letter ‘i.’ Qi wireless charging pads work with compatible smartphones, tablets, Bluetooth  headsets, cameras and smartwatches...

Fitness band

Fitness band

An activity tracker, also known as a fitness tracker, is a device or application for monitoring and tracking fitness-related metrics such as distance walked or run, calorie consumption, and in some cases heartbeat and quality of sleep.

How it works

Some trackers calculate calorie burns for specific activities. ... Fitbit uses an altimeter (barometric measure sensor) which helps it estimate altitude gain and enables it to give more credit (more calories burned) to walking up steps than walking on a flat surface

The most common and basic tracker included is the accelerometer. It can be used for multiple things, but is typically put to work counting steps. By measuring orientation and acceleration force, they can determine whether the device is horizontal or vertical, and whether it's moving or not.

Which hand to wear fitness band

Wear On Your Non-Dominant Hand. If you've purchased a fitness tracker that's meant to be worn around your wrist, make sure that you wear it on your non-dominant hand. Therefore, if you're right-handed, your activity tracker should be worn on your left hand (and vice versa)

How it track your sleep

Place your tracker into the sleep wristband and affix the band around your non-dominant wrist. Once you are in bed and ready to fall asleep, press and hold thetracker's button for several seconds. You will see a stopwatch begin to count, and the other tracker icons will blink, indicating that you are in sleep mode.

CCTV Camera

CCTV CAMERA

CCTV (closed-circuit television) is a TV system in which signals are not publicly distributed but are monitored, primarily for surveillance and security purposes. CCTVrelies on strategic placement of cameras, and observation of the camera's input on monitors somewhere.

                                                PIC FROM 1960'S

CCTV involves the use of an unmanned, remotely mounted video camera system, transmitting live pictures back to a television screen where developments can be monitored and recorded. CCTV was first developed in the late 1970s and was initially confined to high-risk security targets, such as banks.
Covert surveillance was made possible, because for the first time in history, acamera could be used without drawing any attention. 1942: Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is first used in Germany. German scientists developed the technology so that they could monitor the launch of V2 rockets.

Different types of cctv cameras

There are different types of cctv cameras

  • Dome CCTV Camera

Dome Security Cameras are named for their dome like shape. Dome cameras are commonly used in surveillance systems inside of homes, casinos, retail stores, and restaurants. This is because dome cameras are more fashionable and blend in very well to their surroundings. Because of their dome shape, it is difficult for someone to tell which direction the lens of a Dome Camera is actually aiming.

  • Bullet CCTV Camera

Bullet security cameras are a type video surveillance camera that are typically small and shaped like a rifle bullet shell or lipstick case. Smaller bullet cameras are typically the diameter of a cigar, but they are shorter. Sometimes they are referred to as lipstick cameras. Bullet cameras can easily mount to ceilings or walls because most of them use a tri-axis type of mount. Not all bullet camera are small. Infrared bullet cameras tend to be larger in diameter to accommodate the additional space that their IR LEDs require.

  • C-Mount CCTV Camera

C mount is a type of lens mount commonly found on 16 mm movie cameras, closed-circuit televisioncameras, machine vision cameras and microscope phototubes. C-mount lenses provide a male thread, which mates with a female thread on the camera.

core processors

core processor

You will have been hearing about or seeing dual, quad, hexa, octa and other cores online or on gadgets specifications list. Processors are named according to their numbers of complete independent units known as cores. Dual as you already know means double or two, quad means four so same thing is applicable with processors. Dual core processors are processors made up of two cores. Quad core processors are made up of 4 cores and so on. So once the number of cores is high, the performance and task handling will be more faster.

Core processor list

  1. Dual core processor
  2. Quad core processor
  3. Hexa core processor
  4. Octa core processor
  5. Deca core processor

Dual core processor

Dual-core Processor simply means Central Processing Units which has two complete execution cores per physical processor. Dual core processors has two processors combined together and their caches and cache controllers onto a single integrated circuit.

Quad core processor

Quad-core processor is a chip with four independent units that read and execute information and tasks to be done in the central processing unit (CPU).
Within the chip, each core operates in conjunction with other circuits such as cache, memory management, and input/output (I/O) ports. The individual cores in a quad-core processor can run multiple instructions at the same time, increasing the overall speed for programs compatible with parallel processing.

Hexa Core Processors

Hexa Core Processor is another multi-core processor that is built with six cores. It can handle tasks faster than the dual core and quad core processors.
Hexa Core processors have been introduced since 2010. It was launched in Intel Core i7 Hexa-Core processor.

Octa Core Processors

The octa core processors are made up of eight (8) independent cores to handle and perform task efficiently. This implies that Octa-core processors can performs double faster than the quad core processor.

3d gaming

3D Gaming

3D gaming is interactive computer entertainment that is graphically presented in the three dimensions of height, width and depth; the addition of depth to 2D gamingenabled the exploration of virtual worlds with more realistic representation.

The first 3d game

The first true 3D games were developed from wire frame models. The 3D models, which had no shading, were made from vertices and lines and could be seen through. Elite was the first of this new generation of video games, in 1984. Flat-shaded 3D polygons with 16 colors arrived with Bethesda's Terminator in 1990. The game’s graphics were visually inferior to competing 2D graphics of the time. Nonethless, 3D representation pushed the current hardware – 286- and 386-based computers -- and thus were an impressive achievement within their limitations.
In 1992, iD Software released Wolfenstein 3D. Although it is termed 2.5D or pseudo 3D, Wolfenstein launched iD’s reign as the premier graphics engine makers. John Carmack, who later left iD to work on Oculus Rift, was the programmer.

The game is set after the events of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, in which the Prince kills the Dahaka, saves Kaileena and prevents the Sands of Time from being created. Unlike the previous games, the story is narrated by Kaileena.

  • super mario odyssey

Super Mario Odyssey is a platform game in which players control the titular protagonist, Mario, as he travels across many worlds on the Odyssey, his hat-shaped ship, in an effort to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser, who plans to marry her.

  • Call of duty

3d printer

3d printing technology

3D printing is a form of additive manufacturing technology where a three dimensional object is created by laying down successive layers of material. It is also known as rapid prototyping, is a mechanised method whereby 3D objects are quickly made on a reasonably sized machine connected to a computer containing blueprints for the object. The 3D printing concept of custom manufacturing is exciting to nearly everyone. This revolutionary method for creating 3D models with the use of inkjet technology saves time and cost by eliminating the need to design.

different types of 3d printers

print and glue together separate model parts. Now, you can create a complete model in a single process using 3D printing. The basic principles include materials cartridges, flexibility of output.

History of 3d printing

The technology for printing physical 3D objects from digital data was first developed by Charles Hull in 1984. He named the technique as Stereo lithography and obtained a patent for the technique in 1986.While Stereo lithography systems had become popular by the end of 1980s, other similar technologies such as Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) were introduced.
In 1993, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) patented another technology, named "3 Dimensional Printing techniques", which is similar to the inkjet technology used in 2D Printers.
In 1996, three major products, "Genisys" from Stratasys, "Actua 2100" from 3D
Systems and "Z402" from Z Corporation, were introduced.

                                                        worlds first 3d plane

In 2005, Z Corp. launched a breakthrough product, named Spectrum Z510, which was the first high definition color 3D Printer in the market.
Another breakthrough in 3D Printing occurred in 2006 with the initiation of an open source project, named Reprap, which was aimed at developing a self replicating 3D printer.

The model to be manufactured is built up a layer at a time. A layer of powder is automatically deposited in the model tray. The print head then applies resin in the shape of the model. The layer dries solid almost immediately. The model tray then moves down the distance of a layer and another layer of power is deposited in position, in the model tray. The print head again applies resin in the shape of the model, binding it to the first layer. This sequence occurs one layer at a time until
the model is complete.

current 3d printing technologies

Fused deposition modelling -

Here a hot thermoplastic is extruded from a temperature-controlled print head to produce fairly robust objects to a high degree of accuracy.

Selective laser sintering (SLS) -

This builds objects by using a laser to selectively fuse together successive layers of a cocktail of powdered wax, ceramic, metal, nylon or one of a range of other materials.

Multi-jet modelling (MJM)-

This again builds up objects from successive layers of powder, with an inkjet-like print head used to spray on a binder solution that glues only the required granules together.
